Apple released updates for all their devices this month. Apple patched 50 security flaws in total.

Chrome and other Browser Updates

Google released several update this month for Chrome. Any browser based on Chrome (usually known as Chromium browsers) received those updates too.

Hackers love browsers.

Microsoft Windows 10 Mayhem

Predictably Microsoft mangled the first round of security updates for Windows 10 for folks who paid for those updates. Not once but twice.

First Microsoft broke paid enrolment for Windows 10 devices. Second Microsoft mangled the updates so they failed on some Windows 10 machines.

If you still have Windows 10 machines in the office, upgrade as soon as possible. You cannot rely on Microsoft for patches.

Microsoft released updates to fix over 60 vulnerabilities for Windows 11, Office software, SQL, and servers.

The patches address several flaws including one affecting a core Windows component, GDI+, a graphics component used by all kinds of Windows software.

Adobe released security updates for most of its Creative Cloud software this month. This includes Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. No updates for Acrobat or Reader.
