Patch Tuesday November 2015: all the latest security update news for your small business.
Another Hot Flash
Adobe had another Hot Flash experience this month and yes, there are updates for both Apple and Windows folks. And Android. And Chrome OS. And Linux.
Adobe rated this update as Priority One. Technical details here. Get patching.
Microsoft released 4 critical and 8 important updates to Windows, Office and Internet Explorer and the new browser Edge on Tuesday.
The updates caused problems for some computers. One or more of the patches seemed to cause freezing or sleeping issues for some computers. Also Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2007 running on Windows 7 crashed repeatedly after one patch.
I suspect Microsoft will be re-releasing some patches later this week.
Hold off updating Microsoft for a week until they get the patches fixed.
Bite of the Apple
Apple released a security update for the Apple Watch recently.
And they pulled some infected apps from the App Store. More details here.
Hackers are definitely going after the iOS products (iPhone, iPad, iTouch, etc.).
