Credential Account Compromise

What is Credential Account Compromise? One of the fastest growing hacks. Example: miscreants send a phishing email that your Microsoft 365 password has expired. They direct you to click a malicious link in the email that sends you to a web site that looks like the Microsoft login page. The web page is designed to gather your login details including MFA code. Hackers now have access to your Microsoft 365 account.

Typically hackers want your credentials for banking, web site, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and social media accounts.
