How do you choose your IT support? Here are some questions:

How long have they been in the IT business? What are their certifications? Do they have business experience outside of computers?

I’ve been fixing computers since 1999. Microsoft Certified Professional since 1999. Before the IT world, I worked at the Credit Bureau of Vancouver as a commercial credit investigator, a job that gave me a lot of experience dealing with different businesses and where they insisted on customer service training for employees. I’ve always looked at computers as a business tool first, not a gaming machine. I worked at a computer vendor building desktops and servers as well as providing support right out of IT school. Moved on to a multinational where I provided pc support for their western region for over 3 years. All that time I had clients as well as my full time jobs.
